Lucky Dog Fosters
Established in 2022
Our mission is to combat the stray epidemic in Texas, by saving dogs and cats from roadside dumping, high-kill shelters and abusive situations. Our caring fosters rehabilitate these rescues and once they are fully vetted and healthy, we place them in loving homes. We rely on the generosity of donations and the commitment of our volunteers to help us achieve our goal of #savingthestraysoftexas
Our Mascot: Lucky
Lucky was our first rescue, he was a stray who wandered into a friends yard when we lived in Florida in 2013. We were shocked to find so little animal rescues in South Florida at that time. We knew we had to keep him. A few months later, we moved back to Texas and saw first hand that the stray problem wasn't just isolated to Florida. Lucky inspired us to keep going and save as many as possible. We continued to rescue independently but it wasn't until 2022 we officially opened Lucky Dog Fosters
